Location Scout

Our first mission is to find the most important character in the film. The location. It’s important for us to stay true to the desert-like environment of Salomé’s home. This location is going to be the embodiment of Salomé’s isolation and loneliness.

We started our location scouting in France to visit the incredible Dune du Pylat. We were mesmerized by the mountain of sand that could be a great foundation for our film.

Next, we went to a couple of small villages near Bordeaux. These villages would be the background for the palace and small village of Judea.
